I am delighted to be part of the Special Yoga practitioner family. I have trained with Jyoti Manuel for almost 10 years, and found Special Yoga after completing my 200 hour yoga teacher training. I was lucky enough to train for that in Mysore, in India.

I have worked with children and adults with disabilities in the voluntary sector all of my life, offering respite care, and began to share yoga with them when I experienced how settling it could be.

In the years since, I have continued my own training and worked for Special Yoga to support their teacher training and as a practitioner. I have enjoyed sharing yoga in a number of settings with children and young adults, in mainstream and special schools, with family and autism groups, online and in one-to-one sessions. For the last couple of years I have lived in Cumbria where I now work for a youth development charity. Yoga continues to be my "heart" job and my passion is working with children with autism and ADHD.

I feel honoured to play a part in bringing Special Yoga into the lives of other people as I have experienced and witnessed how transformative it can be.
