Bookings cannot be refunded unless a workshop, course or event is cancelled or by management subject to conditions shown below. The Special Yoga Centre reserves the right to refuse admission to the studio. 3. Bookings are made subject to the Centre's right to alter the programme or teaching staff as a result of circumstances beyond its control. 4. If the class, workshop, course or event has to be interrupted or abandoned, no money will be refunded if more than half of it has taken place. 5. Latecomers may be admitted at the discretion of management and teacher/workshop leader. 6. The use of cameras and recording equipment and mobile phones is strictly forbidden. 7. We must have the full name of participants and if making a pre-payment, one telephone number or email address is required. 8. Pre-payments on workshops, courses and events must be made before 20:00 the night before they are due to take place unless otherwise specified. 9. Adults booking for a class will be given a studio pass. They may not enter the class without a studio pass. Clients must give their studio pass to the teacher taking the class. Terms and Conditions of Exchange 1. You may exchange your booking for any other SYC Yoga class, course, workshop or event currently on sale subject to availability. All exchanges require 48 hours notice. 2. All exchanges must be requested via email or in person. SYC Yoga Cancellations Should SYC Yoga have to cancel classes, courses, workshops or events for any reason a full refund will be offered. Class Passes Class passes may be used for regular classes, donation classes and community classes. They may not be used on workshops, events, teacher trainings or courses (except on certain beginner courses and kirtans – please check with reception for details). 10 class passes are non-refundable and non-transferable. They are valid for three months. After this they can be extended for one additional month for a fee of £10. FOR NEW CLIENTS ONLY: The 10 day introductory offer is non-refundable and non-transferable. It is available only to clients who have not taken a yoga class at the centre previously. Concessions Concessions are available on selected classes, workshops, courses, events and teacher trainings. It is necessary to provide proof of concession when making a booking. If making a pre-payment over the phone, clients will be requested to provide a copy of proof either via email or post before we can take payment. We provide concessionary rates for the following: Disabled people; full-time students; those on income support (not including child maintenance); senior citizens RETAIL: Terms and Conditions of Sale and Exchange Retail products cannot be refunded or exchanged, except if the goods are defective. The Special Yoga Centre will secure your personal information no matter where we process or store your data. Privacy Policy This is to confirm that the Special Yoga Centre takes the security and privacy of our customers very seriously. We endeavour to conform with the UK and European Data Protection laws. We do not share any information with third parties nor do we collect or retain any information other than that necessary for us to provide our services to you. We give the highest possible priority to the safety and welfare of children and will in all circumstances cooperate with police and government authorities in combating any and every attempt to harm or pursue sexual relations with children and young people. How do we use personal information? We will use your personal information necessary for us to provide our services to you. We do not share any information with unrelated third parties nor do we collect or retain any information other than is required for the provision of our products or services. Information collected during the application process, will be stored securely. Information collected will be securely destroyed if it is no longer required by Special Yoga Centre. Third Parties Where we engage third party contractors (e.g. teachers, therapists etc) to perform services for us, those third party contractors may be required to handle your personal information. Under these circumstances those third party contractors must safeguard this information and must only use it for the purposes for which it was supplied although we are not responsible for ensuring this. Other than the above, we will not disclose your personal information without your consent unless disclosure is either necessary to prevent a threat to life or health, authorised or required by law reasonably necessary to enforce the law or necessary to investigate a suspected unlawful activity. MindBody Online The Special Yoga Centre makes use of third party software to manage bookings such as MindBody Online. Changes to our Policy From time to time it may be necessary for us to review and revise this policy.
